Floyd is slipping, he is old, other dudes is ****ing his girl. Andre is the Future.....I just saw the Dawson fight, sober, for the first time. WOW.....Ward should fight GGG at 168. It's not a huge $ fight, but it's big and legacy wise it would be huge.
The Dawson fight was a pugilistic masterpiece. That said, I don't hold Dawson in so high a regard as to not feel Floyd's Cotto being UD'd by a 9-3ish type decision is at least arguably more impressive than Ward's Dawson being humiliated.
I already was putting Ward up at #2 before the fight. That said I can't kick Floyd out of the #1 spot yet. Floyd's been doing it for a decade and Andre Ward is still learning. The GGG fight would be interesting, but I just don't see anyone from 160-175 that I think would beat Andre Ward. GGG has the power to make it interesting, but Ward's combination of defensive skills and ring smarts are on such a high level I don't see him getting caught.

i had andre at 2 before the dawson fight, he can overtake floyd if he fights a good opponent and wins before floyd steps in the ring.
I still have Mayweather number one as he's gone through numerous divisions, beaten very solid competition, and still displays great skill (despite his declining athleticism). That said, H2H, I think Ward is the best fighter in the sport at the moment. It's only a matter of time before he tops the pound for pound list.
