Vargas needs a new trainer that will light a fire under his ass. This guy left Mayweather promotions for dreams of a title shot and a fight with Manny doubt it is going to happen. The guy went from Making $100,000 a fight to whatever he is getting tonight which is lless that $50,000 what an idiot

    With a close round-before-last. I can see 67-65 Vargas or 66-66

Yeah, I could see the cards being scattered, maybe one of those weird SD with large swings either way.

    Round 8

Martinez comes in and chops with a right but gets check hooked. Vargas is setting up shop in the middle of the ring, holding Martinez at bay with the jab out of a forward leaning stance. Martinez tries to roll his gloves around and fake dives in to either side but can't get past the jab of Vargas. Body shot and a high chopper by Martinez, still not penetrating. Vargas steps left and stops to jab. He repeats this formula as Martinez isn't offering anything back. Not much action this round. Hooks to the hip by Vargas briefly stepping in. He tries it again and Martinez plunks a glancing right on the top of his head.

    10-9 Vargas

    79-73 Vargas

Ward is a fantastic fighter but he's wrong.. The weight wont matter.. Junior could come in weighing 2 bills and he's still going to get whooped. The difference in experience and skill level will be evident! It's going to get ugly down the stretch and I expect this one to end in 6 or 7 rounds.. Junior will kneel down to his King and all will be right with the world! :deal

    Round 9

Martinez forces Vargas to the ropes and pounds him on either side of the stomach. Vargas struggles to force him off with his jab, as Martinez just rockets off his heels through it and into Vargas, really working that body nicely. Vargas now has a bit of marking on his face, although Martinez's has been swollen for several rounds now. Vargas finally gets a few nice body shots of his own to connect wide at the start and end of Martinez's name on his trunks. Martinez is committed to his plan of attack this round, flopping in against Vargas and shoving him around the ring, working the body. Vargas has to hold a lot, and Nady yells at him to let go. Martinez shoves inside again and Vargas chops ineffectively at his head. Martinez works the body in the clinch.

    10-9 Martinez

    88-83 Vargas
