Boxing has a true gentleman on the throne again, a throwback fighter.

I had begun giving up on boxing with all the recent mess, but I can't help but be joyful thinking about Andre Ward on top.

Andre is great for the sport. A gentleman outside of the ring, a technician inside of it.

His willingness to enter the Super Six as an underdog is a testament to his ambition; his winning the gold medal adds to his pedigree.

I'm a big fan of Andre's and am very glad I went to watch him beat AA live.

He's a future p4p king that will be a great ambassador for the sport, unlike the moron currently at the top.

    more like boring times ahead.

i will only enjoy his fights if he;s in with people he might lose against, which wont be very often.

I prefer my fighters to be flawed. Makes for a more fun watch.

I don't see why you had begun giving up on boxing since Ward's been around for several yaers now and it was just a matter of time before he got where he's at today.

I don't see anything exciting about a fighter who fights in his backyard only. Even in the Dawson fight, the true winner was Dawson who showed guts going down in weight and coming to the backyard of his opponent.

Ward will never get recognition without taking risks. Yes, he wins fights but not hearts. Couple of losses are not that bad. Lennox was KOed twice but is much bigger fighter. It is more important to show courage. Zero means nothing.
