I think he'd do well if he started his comeback at 140 instead of 147. He struggled with Collazo at 147, and many thought he lost that fight.
He needs to avoid Matthyse. I dont even think he could make 140, before he retired he was struggling to make it.
He looked bad in one fight at 147, people need to talk about how great he looked at 147 against the greatest fighter of this era
He never looked great at 147. The problem is his body wouldn't let him stay at 140. Matthysse would be tailor made for Hatton.

Why's that then Doby? Manny Pac weight jumps. He's the same age. He's gonna do nothing at 147 unless he fights bums. You overrate Lucas greatly. I guarantee Hatton on good form would beat him. Lucas is good but slow. It would be like Hatton Tszyu. And out of prime Tszyu is better than Matthysse prime.
Thing is, Hatton wont be on good form....Dude has been inactive for a long time, and his best days are way behind him. At this point, Lucas savagely KO's him.
He's an old man who has wrecked his metabolism by being ****ing fat for years. He can't make 140, and he's not big enough for 147, and he's not good enough to cause any noise regardless.
Manny has stayed in shape. Ricky hasn't. Being a fat kid means even if you lose weight, years later your daily maintenance calories will still be lower than if you had been a kid of average weight. Being fat for a significant amount of time changes your body's chemistry forever, as does aging, so he has two things preventing him from getting down to 140 without being totally drained.
