Round 2

1-2 to the body by Smith. Senkovs is trying to ram into Smith with both forearms pinned together while ducking forward with his full weight bearing down on the youngster. Smith whips him back with an overhand right, then ducks a few light straights tossed over his head. Right hands by Smith push Senkovs back to the ropes, but he's able to dance clear of them with a few sidelong hops. Left hooks to the body and head by Smith. Senkovs is getting batted around the ring as Smith opens up, big body attack with both hands now. Senkovs uses a lot of dips and bobs while trying to avoid punishment, only marginally successful in that he's reducing a lot of Smith's blows to mere grazes instead of outright connects.

Round 3

Senkovs stilts around on locked legs, tossing out jabs and pushed right hands. SMith ducks and rolls on the way in, then slaps away with hooks behind the ear or big rights to the body. Hook to the ribs by Smith. Senkovs slides back and pokes with his jab and right. Smith backs away from a looping right, then moves in and unloads several short uppers to the body while shoving Senkovs back. Clinch, and Senkovs carries Smith out to the middle of the ring. Hooks to the body by Smith, and a big right up top as Senkovs is trying to grab him. Senkovs jabs and fades back toward the ropes, narrowly avoiding a right hand over the top.

30-27 Smith

 

Round 4

Smith hops in and out and works the body as Senkovs jabs with disinterest over him, as though a priest administering a blessing. Smith comes charging in with a right between the gloves and then hurtles down into a full lean in to dig a hook to the body. Smith is pushing Senkovs to the ropes and putting together powerful combos, tring to force the stoppage. Senkovs remains in his upright guard, backpedaling and seeking solace on the ropes and trying to fight his way off from there. Smith manages to open a cut by Senkovs' left eye with his punches but can't land the finishing blow with him writhing along the ropes and keeping that guard up. Big right hand over the top by Smith, and another. Senkovs shoves him back. Big right hand by Smith, and Senkovs slumps against him while holding on. The ref orders a break and Smith keeps pummeling Senkovs' body to pin him on the ropes.

After this, one more undercard bout and then the co-features.

 

Yes, but he ceased to be that once he got announced. :yep It's an old Irish rite of passage, dating back to the Druids.

 

Round 1

Starchy jabs by Buglioni. Rea is slinking out of the way and waving his shiny green mittens out in the air as a smokescreen. Falling jab by Buglioni as Rea squeezes his face down past his shoulders and leans away while circling. Buglioni follows and waves his left, showing the jab feint, but getting caught as Rea pokes in a right. Buglioni isn't bothered, still coming forward diligently behind his aggressive jab. REA DOWN by the ropes from a hard 1-2. Buglioni stays on him and knocks him down again, a sweep of the knuckles on the canvas after getting clawed in the belly with a left and then smashed from above with another right. Twenty-odd seconds to go. Rea is up again and gets drilled with a 1-2, then circles away from an uppercut to the face.

10-7 Buglioni

 

Round 2

Buglioni is coming forward with his jab at the fore, pushing Rea back. BIG 1-2 to the face and Rea's down again, hard. Rea paces from corner to corner as Hinds counts in his face.
