Its not even double of his own weight and its really poor for deadlift IMO. And his technique really sucks.
All the more reason needed for sound technique, although you're right that it doesn't necessarily matter if he's lifting huge or not. Actually I presume you mean powerlifter not bodybuilder anyway. It looks like he's added some mass to his hamstrings, okay they're gonna look quite a bit bigger when he's in the middle of dead lifting anyway, but even with that considered he's clearly been putting some work in, in that area. The weight is quite good aswell for someone who probably hasn't deadlifted much in their life, does large amounts of cardio and probably doesn't do anymore than 2-3 S&C sessions a week at the very max. The form is very concerning, you can't see his full body during the lift, but the way his back bends as he's controlling the weight back to the ground is not something you want to see. Also I'm not sure why you'd want to wear a belt if the purpose of the lift is to improve athletic performance rather than just deadlifting performance. The belt will reduce the stability work the core has to perform during the lift, something a boxer generally wouldn't want to do.
Show boxing technique training then I might be interested! Isn't this the same guy that punched himself in the face during a fight ?
How not to train a fighter 101.:yep:rofl:rofl No wonder the ****er is so poorely co-ordinated and poorely conditioned
Seriously needs to sort his training out...sparring mma fighters and now doing one rep max deadlifts! His back will give way if he carries on lifting like that!!
Well, this is good: In the unlikely event that Tyson fury ever KO's Wlad, and has to bend over & pick him up off the canvas, he'll be ready. Other that that, WTF is the significance of this, at all?
