McDonagh is shoving into Skeete, working that right hand over the top and as an uppercut to the chest bypassing Skeete's left forearm. Skeete tries to swallow McDonagh up in his tentacles and dance away. Left hook to the upper jaw by McDonagh. Skeete jabs out at him on the back foot. Weak 1-2 by Skeete. McDonagh gets held while bowing in, then hits the body. Soft uppercut by Skeete. Another clinch. The ref is busily splitting them apart.

Round 6

McDonagh is plowing ahead and keeping a body on him, but isn't getting his fists where they ought to be. McDonagh is throwing with the same vigor but seems a bit arm-weary, slower and less accurate. Skeete is popping his jab lightly off McDonagh's face from the outside and avoiding all but a few nose-tickling clipping rights on the outside as McDonagh lunges for him.

Round 7

McDonagh points his face to the floor and hacks on the way in with a bling left hook. Skeete is able to jab and grab as he pleases with the only partial offensive effort from McDonagh, who seems to be only biding his time until he can close the distance and do some work on the inside. It isn't happening for him, as Skeete is effectively stepping around him despite his own footwork becoming sloppy and uncoordinated, jabbing and landing soft uppercuts to the gut and armpit from mid-range. Shoeshine by Skeete before leaning in to hold. McDonagh grinds in on him and lands a right to the throat, then one to the ribs, and another up top. Skeete shoves him back and dances around him, slapping in a combination at McDonagh's bowed head.

Round 8

McDonagh is marching in, whipping away to the body and coiling himself into a fetal position to flop in against Skeete and try to hold him still by shoving into him. Skeete is dancing back and tossing out light counters, until one very nice uppercut that stops McDonagh in his tracks a moment. Skeete is landing a bit to the back of the head as McDonagh ducks and croc-rolls in, but it's McDonagh who gets warned by the ref for leading with his head. Jabs by Skeete catching McDonagh coming forward.

Round 9

McDonagh is just plodding into Skeete now, eating jabs. McDonagh is getting caught by multiples now as Skeete polishes off the 1-2. A few smacks to the sides by McDonagh as he dives in against Skeete. Short combos to the face rattled off by Skeete while stepping back. Weak uppercut by Skeete as McDonagh nearly faceplants into his crotch. Soft flurries to the body by McDonagh, badly fatigued. Skeete is ducking and letting McDonagh's arms drape harmlessly over the back of his neck before shrugging him off and jabbing as he backs out.
