158lbs is far too light and it reminds me of Oscar weighing in at 145 against Pacquiao. Far too much weight lost in too short of a time period. I like Chavez a lot and even though I gave him a chance a few weeks ago, now I've seen him weigh in, I really don't think he can do it. I think he'll turn up tired, weak and lethargic. Hopefully he moves up to super middle after the Martinez fight, regardless of the result. EDIT: According to him, he is better than ever. I doubt it. It looks like his training camp was in Auschwitz.
please tell me you're actually Trolling Jr...... If not, please redirect all the *****-asses to complain on this thread, whose gonna be using the same excuses post-fight.... ya know how fat looking he comes in fightnight as a boxer??? You're not suppose to be coming in looking like that and be considered as at "optimal weight".... simply, he looks overweight as a Middleweight
He was 167 only last week, so it doesnt seem like hes cutting that much. Noit more than normal anyway
I think if he is that light it is because he didnt have problems making the weight. He'll be alright. Martinez looks very solid though.
You have to remember he's a fat chub ass outside of camp. I'm the same height as him and walk around at 165-170lbs
He is not weight drained he is in the best shape of his life right now he took this fight serious all the smoke and mirrors roach put out there worked. He is this light because he will need some speed here Martinez is doomed
these two comments aren't very accurate. Oscar was close to the 147 limit weeks before fighting Pac and he also came in 2 lbs below the limit.
