He wasn't too dissimilar from Margarito's look at weigh-ins (although not as cut - I just mean the way his stomach curls back in)

A few seconds after weighing in, he started rehydrating. In the interview with Max, he took like 5 jugs.

The people here saying he is drained likely has never had to make weight a day in their life....
The way a fighter looks on the scale does not mean he is drained... its not how you look its how you trained how you took off the weight... you will all see tomorrow when a 180 pound rehydrated Junior enters the ring and batters Martinez like never before

    No.

If he had come in at 160 exactly.. then it might have been because he was in sauna and sweat suit to loose the last 100 grams..

But with 158... he would not force himself to lose 2 pounds to come in at 158 - of course not! So clearly he must just be in very good shape - and have trained harder for the fight than for previous fights.

Look no further than the dude in your avatar.
One of my all-time favorites but dude always looked like he needed a sandwich.

Yeah, but Oscar had lost a lot of muscle sitting in that chair being a promoter.

Then when the part-time boxer (as he was then) he worked to get in shape and drop the fat... the lost fat and less muscle just left him under.

    __

A weight-drained fighter comes in smack on the limit and has had a very tough time making weight...

If a fighter is weight-drained and comes in 2 pounds under the limit.... then he must be dumber than wet cardboard. And although Chvez may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, he is not THAT dumb.

You could be right. Or it could be that he was fighting to make weight for weeks intead of training for the fight. We'll see tomorrow.
