As for his comments, I don't think he's saying any different from what a lot of people have said on here over the past week.

*Would Ward have got more credit winning at light heavy?

*Was Dawson stupid to drain himself down a division?

*Should he have asked for a neutral venue?

*Did Dawson look 100% at that weight?

But because Mayweather said it people start wetting themselves.

it brings more authority into it. coming from the best pfp fighter in the world, that just solidifies everything.

Floyd is scared of Ward p4p-wise. It is obvious.

Should Dawson have come down? Yes, he has almost no traction with the fans and even with fights like Hopkins and Pascal.. noone really cares about him at all. And there were no fights for him at 175... and fans don't really care about the division much. It does not bring the excitement the 168 does these days... so yes of course he should take the chance to steal Ward's thunder. He miserably failed of course... but he had to try.

Should he have asked for neutral ground? Yes, that he should... but Ward would not give it to him because he feels comfortable in the bay area.

he's feeling jealous because some of his fans are jumping on the Ward bandwagon already. a few days ago they're saying that Dawson wasn't weightdrained, better win than Pac/ODLH, he's #1 / #2 (behind FMJ) P4P today. now they're saying that Floyd needs time to get his 15lbs of muscle back. :-(

Having a small fan base doesn't mean he should move down, it was a brave move by him but it turned out to be a stupid one and there is no doubt that Ward would have got far more credit if he had moved up and took his titles to become a 2 weight champion.

As for being a risk P4P, Ward is in the same position that Martinez has been in that he's highly ranked but there just isn't the competition around him to move to the top spot while Mayweather and Pacquiao remain active and winning.

Corrales was supposed to move up to 135 before signing to fight Floyd and also came in 2 pounds overweight on the first try and had to spend over an hour in the sauna to make weight.

LOL they better petition a clause that floyd undergo a REAL OLYMPIC STYLE DRUG TESTING where athletes get tested even though they are not fighting.

Not really,I don't think he really cares what fans p4p rankings are. I think feels sorry for Dawson a little, cos he's always rated Dawson

This. Floyd is a fan of both fighters. In his words, the fight would have been more exciting of fought on fairer terms.

Funny he criticizes Dawson for losing weight and fighting in Oakland whn everyone he fights has to agree to his terms...

I think he's right, and I also think he's being fair to Ward. Just about every example I can think of where a fighter has dropped down in weight to fight has been a disaster.
