    Ok fair enough, it might also be due to the fact, you are yet to have a channel on Virgin Media though, just a thought. ;) Any plans for that to change in the future?

    Not exactly. You did explain why the price is put at £15, however...

    Why should boxing fans see the existence of your company as a good thing?

    If you didn't exist, is it not likely that we would get the fight on Sky Sports or BoxNation? And a lot of boxing fans would be happier with that situation?

    If you're successful selling PPV, aren't you going to increase the cost of certain fights for Sky and BoxNation?

    Nothing personal, but I can't see that PPV of American fights is good for British boxing fans.

    Compare Primetime to BoxNation, and Primetime isn't really good value is it?

    That's a totally different question, there have been a number of fights that would not have been on British TV if it weren't for us.

    When we started with the Super 6 - that tournament and Carl Froch would not have been on British TV without us - in fact in Carl Froch's fight before we launched was not available live on TV.

    It's simple, if you want to watch the fights we carry you can purchase, if not then don't and whatever will be will be....

    True, but that was when you started out and BoxNation wasn't around. We did have a problem then of little coverage of international boxing. I don't see that PPV is the best way to fix that problem.

    That's evasion plain and simple.

    That's not an answer as to why your company should be seen as a good thing!! If you can't answer that question...

    Why should we be seen as a good thing? well simply because we offer variety, and the opportunity to purchase single events without being tied into a subscription.

    I'm not here to tell people you must order a Primetime event we're the best thing ever, I'm here to give out as much information as possible about events we carry and to help people resolve any issues they may have with our service.

    That may be seen as a good thing by some in itself. We do at least have a call centre and can assist with any issues in real time, and also make ourselves easily accessible for assistance across a wide variety of mediums.

    At the end of the day though you are free to form and hold your own opinions of our place in the market:good

    I havent got anything against primetime. they are just doing what they can to make money like any other business.

    That said I can't see them doing to well tonight. Other fights they have had have had big names in Pacquaio, Mayweather etc or have had British fighters.

    Tonight though, the generals have no clue who Martinez or Chavez is unless they have heard of his dad and I doubt many boxing fans will pay £15.

    Good luck though but I think the price will be a big screw up here even if it isn't up to Primetime.

    You aren't tied into a subscription with BoxNation and they are much better value aren't they?

    Sure, but boxing fans often seem to regard your company as exploitative yes?

    I was just interested in whether you had a defence for that.

    If, for the sake of argument, you have good customer service, that isn't really a justification for your company being a good thing for the fans.

    As per the Sky platform recording rules, you can only record a pay-per-view event if you order through the box office menu. Exactly the same with Sky, if you ring them up to order your pay-per-view fight then you can't record. Full details are linked to in the OP in the support thread and also are available on the buy page on the website which you clicked through

    how bout u **** off with your company bull****.one person would be an accident,i know of 3 other friends personally that the same has happened to with various events.plus the people on this thread who have stated similar problems.face it your company are rip off merchants and you are a twat for agreeing with their practises:good
