You should actually read his interview. He had a crappy diet in jail and lost 15 pounds

he drunk more than half of it and it was a liter sized bottle

Not a great argument. Not even the Marquez argument is great, as Marquez moved up in weight to fight the Mayweather, not move down. Mayweather was an ass for not making weight though... but Marquez was compensated. He says Dawson shouldn't had moved down, but at least Dawson actually did it, and didn't center the ring having no intention of cutting to agreed weight. Mayweather is a ***** made nucca for doing that. But Corrales was the man at 130, ranked higher than Mayweather, most picked him to win, and he went on to fight way more at that weight absolutely destroying Fretias.

Corrales was the man at 130 but was struggling to make weight at that point in his career and had vacated his belt in order to move up to 135.

This was right before Floyd signed to fight him at 130 - effectively forcing him to drain down to 130 when his intentions were to move up to 135.

The fact that Corrales missed the weight by 2 pounds on his first attempt just further indicates how drained he was at 130.

The fact that Corrales fought (and lost to) Casamayor just under 3 years later and then after that went on to have a succesful campaign at 130 can't change what happened when he fought Floyd.

It is more likely that Chico didn't train properly seeing as he was going to prison. If he was struggling to make weight, why did he make it and look very good at it 3 years later?

There appears to be an infestation of thick pea-brained berks on this forum. LOL @ these twerps who think Mayweather feels threatened over is p4p status.

The pound for pound list is a myth, as are ATG lists and other such fantastical nonsense.:deal

He said himself making weight was always a struggle, not just for the Mayweather fight, and that it wouldn't affect his performance

this is like cotto draining himself for pac.

    dawson drained for ward.

i feel going up in weight is easier then going down in weight.

mayweather faught at 154, then retired, i dont think his ever had a fight at 154, then fight at 147, i could be wrong. that could well change happen soon, im hoping.
