    thanks for this.

Based on the line up of the two main events. Are we expecting Martinez to be on before alvarez?

With no interruptions and all the fights going the distance/all ending at the same time you would be able to watch Martinez Chavez Jr just before Canelo.

tbh fingers crossed one card is interrupted like **** while the other goes brilliantly.

Possible, considering the HBO PPV is only a triple-header while the Showtime quadruple-header is starting at the exact same time.

Then again, Rigondeaux vs. Marroquin and Martinez vs. Beltran both seem likely candidates to go into the late rounds if not the full distance whereas the Showtime main card has a couple that could end quite early. Morel vs. Santa Cruz probably won't, but Gonzalez and DPDL are each equipped to blow the other out if they land something big on their opponent's chin...and Maidana vs. Soto Karass is a bit of a question mark all over (Maidana got dropped and hurt by 140lbers, and JSK is a big strong natural WW/LMW...but then again JSK has major defensive flaws and can be cut, and Maidana is a dervish..)

All things considered, I have no ****ing idea which main event will come first. There are so many variables.

The great news here IMO is that the German card should be wrapped up in time for everybody to catch the prelims for both American cards. :happy

Nope. It's the "main event" of the preliminary "Red Carpet" card, per Top Rank's own website.

If you ask me, it would make more sense to add Macklin vs. Alcine to the PPV (both to add value and to counter Showtime by matching it in kind with a quadruple-header) and feature the Oyewale Omotoso and John Jackson (undefeated son of Julian and 2nd-generation KO artist) bouts on the Top Rank Live Stream.

Mike Lee honestly doesn't need the airtime at this stage, fighting 6-rounders.

Then, hey, I'm no evil genius like Arum. :conf
