Precisely. It's always cute when people pretend Margarito ever demonstrated the least bit against anyone other than welters he enjoyed gigantic size advantages over.

About as beastly as Cotto vs Nishioka or Matthysse vs Roman Gonzalez.

It would be funny to watch Margarito fight with a defensive safety first style I guess.

Dumbest thing I've read in a while.

Margarito gets arse raped in this hypothetical, he has literally no advantage.

Everything I said was fact. If facts are "dumb", then you just be a genius.

Froch and McCracken have both mentioned that if Froch wanted to, he could fight at 160 without any problems. Whether he could make 154 or not, I don't know, but plenty of 154lbers weigh more than Froch on fight night. In fact, how many top 154lb fighters are lighter than Froch on fight night?

Look at the body types. Froch is trim. There's no way he can lose 14lbs off of his body and be in fighting shape. He'd turn up looking like DLH did in his final fight.

Have broadcasts listed Froch's rehydration weights during fights? I know he's never that far off of 168 when he's "walking around" but I doubt that he's 167 rehydrated on fight night. HBO showed Kessler's rehydration rate against Andrade years ago and Bute's rehydration weight against Miranda, both were in the lower 180s, and Froch didn't exactly look small when he faced them.

At any rate,no matter what Margo's typical rehydration weight is, Margo never did much at 154, far less than what he did at welter. To ask him to perform 21 lbs above his best weight against the #2 SMW is a sure fire way to get him messed up.
