The Americans preferred to stay at home because ALL the big fights took place in their country, whoever wanted to make it had to make the flight. Any fights worth mentioning in England or Wales?

Ward moves his head body and is not there to be slapped. Calzaghe barely beat a counter puncher in Reid and Bhop... Ward would **** him up inside or outside. Ward just beat Dawson at both ranges. Ward is not Jeff Lacy. That is all.

Calzaghe was knocked down in his prime against Kebabi Salem. :rofl The only thing he Lacy'd was Jeff Lacy, nothing else.

Its not gonna happen so suck a dick ;)

Ps. Ward will probably get sparked in his next few fights then he`ll be overrated, glass jawed blah blah..... **** off

Both Pacquiao and Mayweather have pairs of shoes more famous and recognized than Calzaghe's entire career.

Ward would be as much to blame, Ward is just as reluctant to leave Oakland as Calzaghe was to leave Britian.

What like football ? (soccer to you dicks)... the most popular sport in every country except America... because you tried to be the best at it, failed miserably, then went back to rounders & dodgeball (baseball & basketball to you slags)

    True story ^

Peak ,prime at their best take your pick .unlike Joe who waited 10 yrs to fight someone with a pulse after Eubank !

And isn't Dawson 28 ? And what whoopings are you talking about both of those fights went to a decision I don't recall any knockdowns in either fight !

I think most fight fans have a very good idea on what would've happened had Calzaghe crossed the pond 10 years earlier when all 3 men (Joe C, Roy and B-Hop) were all in their Primes or close to it. Roy and Bernard are a few years older naturally, and you have to commend Calazaghe's people- specifically Frank ****** whose notoriously known for sheltering his fighters and keeping them from coming to the States for whatever reason. Still, Joe was a long time champ and could've forced his way out of ****** promotions MUCH earlier. It's hard for anyone to give him credit considering his biggest win if you really think about it was against a prime Mikkel Kessler.

I think most would agree if they were all in their primes, Calzaghe would get knocked out by Roy and Bernard would probably win by a UD, something to the effect of 8-4. Although he had an amazing work rate, Joe C never had the power, even in his prime, to make me think otherwise against 2 fighters who are clearly rated much higher than JOe on the ATG list.

It's not a US vs Uk thing, it's a boxer vs boxer thing and unfortunately for Joe C, he'll never be considered an ATG like Jones and B-Hopkins are.

Most fight fans were sure Lacy was going to batter Calzaghe, including most of the know-it-alls on here. Most media muppets thought the same thing. I heard that fat Dan had Lacy up on his scorecard vs Calzaghe, which can't be true surely?
