'More Irish than the Irish' its the phrase coined for how people looking to forge a cultural identity away from the mother country, take it that extra step when living as an expat community. These first generation Aussies are looking to belong to a culture they are now somewhat distanced from and are prime targets to take up this fanatical behavior. ****** see ****** do. They dont feel Australian or Middle eastern or wherever their from. So they further alienate themselves with this pack mentality.
