How come Vitali doesn't put full force behind his punches?

Nobody else ever wanted to fight him?

And Haye didn't duck Vittles, you got it backwards. Vits wouldn't split the British PPV one time, literally sinking the fight. Than he said he'd take in the winner of Chisora-Haye only to go back on his word and fight the mighty Charr.

To the poster who said Vitali is less robotic. Are you ****ing high? Vitali moves like a rusty hinge. He has no fluidity at all. GTFO.

And why did Haye not take it? Answer: Because Vits wouldn't give up half the
UK PPV. He was already getting the lions share of the money and he want to take the money from Haye's audience? Ridiculous. He priced himself out by being greedy.

I recall our own Chef saying Vitali was *demanding to know why he couldn't KO Briggs* right after the fight went the duration. Chef said he and the team members told Vital it was due to the armpunching style and him not put putting his weight/body behind the shots.

He said Vitali expressed a firm intent to start putting his powerful form back into his game.

Not sure if he kept that focus upon regaining more power or not, but, he did stop and drop Solis wtih one shot, and he did knock Charr down, KOed Sosnowski, dropped Adamek, etc..............so he's not as light punching as some seem to think.

I think he is mainly concerned with movement, effective mobility, and is content with throwing the arm punches which are still powerful enough to continually stop virtullay every opponent he faces, given VK"s natural strength, leverage, and size.

But me being a fan of KOs, powerful shots landed flush, and high dramic results in fights, I'd like to see him go back to his full bore power punching style, but this late in the game, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, is probably Vitali and Sdunek's outlook on it.

Vitali throws arm punches because most of his game revolves around his great reflexes that he uses to avoid the punches coming back at him. He has enough power behind his arm punches to break his opponents down, so he very seldomly throws everything that he has in his shots. He is defensive minded and is always in position to lurch back and avoid the oncoming attack. If he were to sit down on his punches, and put everything into them... then he wouldn't have the ability to dip back away on a dime like he does.

However, his reflexes are definitely slowing and I think that it's time for him to retire. No need for him to take a loss over the age of 40... or possibly even get knocked down for the first time in his career due to age.

But he destroyed Chisora while Vits was taken the distance, and then didn't honor his word to fight the winner. Hmmmm. :smooch

arm punches are harder for his opponent to anticipate. He knows if he sat down on his punches, his opponents would avoid or block them, causing Klitschko to waste energy, so he doesn't put too much leverage behind his punches so he can score instead of miss punches. Some old-heads in boxing consider it smart strategy, "take him to deep water and drown him."

:lol: It took Floyd 10 rounds to KO Hatton while PAC needed only 2!!! Do you think manny beats Floyd? anyway ,who gives a **** about that fatso chisora? Vitali is old and slow ,he's 41 ! ,he lost his power and legs, and that's why haye wants to fight him now ,but just a few years ago he wanted nothing to do with Vit ,he had punchers chance against Wlad, but he knew ,he had no chance against Vit . Prime Vitali would have whipped haye and chisora .

Because his knees and his back are shot which limits his mobility even more and because of his style which doesn't allow him to throw proper punches with his whole body

In spite of his ko% Vittles was never a huge puncher. He wore guys down through volume. And Haye did want Vittles a few years ago, but unreasonable contract demands prevented it. Last time out Vitaly wouldn't give up half the British PPV, a ridiculously unreasonable ultimatum, so again no fight. He said he fight the winner of Haye-Cisora....but again he went with much weaker opposition. Vitaly was claiming it was personal after Haye fought Wlad. Couldn't have been that personal or he wouldn't have been so stingy in negotiations. Just face the facts, Vits wants to cash out with the biggest payday but isn't willing to take a chance unless everything is stacked in his favor.

And yeah Vit would have beaten, probably still would, but he simply doesn't want to take the chance of losing and hurting his already delicate legacy.....hence the decision to fight Charr.
