RJJ would ruin all these guys in his prime easily. His speed, power and agility has not been duplicated. Roy was the p4p king of the 90's and early 2000'sfor a reason. The guy was an all time great!

Don't judge him from this shell of a boxer you see today

GREAT and accurate post and I'm a big Calzaghe fan.

That said I'm also a realist.

Now just Roy's speed, but his power and ring IQ. I don't see Ward doing much better than James Toney or Bernard Hopkins. I do see it being a competitive fight like the Hopkins fight was at best but there is no way in hell Ward beats a prime RJJ 1995-96.

Froch would go 12 but would be humiliated and probably knocked down a few times.

Don't tell you about "know" p4p, the **** was made up by hbo... What does this even mean?

Roy Jones was an ATG and worldwide household name..

The fighters he "ducked" are not, and didn't want to fight him that much..

Tarver is the only man to chase Roy.. all the other chasers Roy was hiding from should have taken lessons from Tarver...

The difference from them and Tarver, is Tarver is the only one to believe he could beat Roy.. Benn, Eubank, Calzaghe and others all expressed their doubt about beating Roy with their own words, and never wanted to fight him like Tarver did..

    End of story.

Who at 168 would hit him though??

Benn and G-Man hit very hard, but telegraphed their punches... You have to realize the chance of them hitting SMW Jones with that big punch, and not being messed up themselves is very unlikely. Benn had a questionable chin too, I am sure prime Jones rocks him first.

Jones did beat two of the generations best fighters... Those are two H2H matches we saw that he dominated.. I am not gonna just throw him out of mythical matches because his chin declined in his mid 30s..

He was outright hard to hit, and when he was hit clean a few times by Toney, and Hopkins, he took it well.:yep

You can look for yourself, his neck has become thinner.
A thinner neck can't absorb punches as good as a thick one making your head experience less g-forces, which lowers the chance of your brain bashing against your skull, which prevents signals from being sent that make you go "KO".
It probably went from average to glass.

1: Tarver was a better fighter than Dariusz
2: HBO had tried to make a Jones-Dariusz fight before, but with no success
