    I hate when they do the human interests pieces on a guy he is not going to win, he is a sacrificial lamb.

    Canelo is going to kO him and then try to play this off like a real win.

    His justification was "I don't score blind aggression when all the punches are missing.. :bart"

    ...which I generally agree with, but to me is a harsh assessment of Ponce De Leon's performance.


    Gonzalez was always sharper and more accurate, even in the rounds he lost - but he still lost more than 2 rounds to the heavier blows of Ponce De Leon IMO.

    It was a false justification because Ponce was scoring with the lefts to the body. I just don't see how you could give this fight to Jhonny off what we saw tonight.

    Man Jose looks flat as hell in the promo vid

    Lopez strikes me as being the type of fighter who can have moments against anyone. It's up to Canelo to find a way to respond when that happens.

    This should be a mismatch, but it could be fun, if Canelo isn't taking Lopez as seriously as he should.
