    Nice quick jabs from the hip by Martinez. Chavez tries to walk him down, but is doing nothing except eat jabs plodding in with his arms down. Chavez finally gets his guard up, but it just opens up the body for Martinez. Chavez is pressing forward intently, and finally catches Martinez lingering by the ropes with a right and left uppercut combo swooping in. He brushes the body but Martinez is able to wriggle off the ropes and land a pair of quick counters. 1-2 to the body by Martinez, under Chavez's elbows. Quick left hand up top by Martinez. A bit more showboating by Martinez, shrugging at Chavez and asking why he isn't fighting as he backs him up with jabs and keeps his hands down at all times. A bit of Ali Shuffle from Martinez, winding his left arm around.
