Yep no rematch is necessary. If he does rematch Chavez it will certainly be for the payday.

It'll be a great fight. I'd take this over a rematch any day. GGG has much better punching technique than Chavez Jr and would give Martinez a much tougher fight.

Do you feel Mayweather should fight Lara, because it's essentially the same thing.

Martinez v Golovkin would be amazing. I'm all for it. I was singing GGG's praise since I posted on here.

Golovkin also has absurd power. Power that Martinez couldn't handle for too long.

This might be the one of the few times I don't mind a fighter just going after the Bigger Paydays given Sergio's age. So a fight with the biggest payday is where I would advise him to go.

He can always try to get a fight with Canelo first. If not, then make the next best fight possible.

In other words, I'm being a realist as to why these Men FIGHT for a LIVING. It's about the PAY. And when you are 37, going on 38 by your next fight, YES, you go for the Biggest Paydays out there.

You say you wouldn't but if you were in his position would you toss away a MUCH bigger Payday against someone like Alvarez, Mayweather (which isn't happening), or even a Rematch with Chavez Jr. (which I'm not in favor of from a boxing fan's standpoint) ?

Whoever gives you the biggest Payday, you fight. He's 37, not 27.
