If him and Donaire ever fight, the first big left hook Nonito lands on this guy it's shattered cuban glass all over the ring :bbb

Can't deny Rigo's expert defense and precise punches, but every clean punch he was hit with almost cracked his glass chin. Donaire should be licking his chops after watching that **** tonight.

I will be down for a lifetime ban bet that Rigo wins if ever Donaire makes the mistake to step in the ring with Rigondeaux

I believe it too. If that left hookercut lands while both are throwing punches, Rigo might just get ktfo.

Rigondeaux is a very GOOD FIGHTER but his CHIN will be his downfall.

    Bet on it

Nonito(e) will have bigger things to worry about than Rigo when Nishioka upsets him

Rigondeaux is far from an Iron chin, but you all get too excited. Never was Rigo on wet spaghetti legs. On two occasions Marroquin landed hard shots and Rigo stumbled as a result, the second time for showboating and being stupid. NEVER did his legs turn into khan baby dear legs.

And so much for the argument " Rigo will get on his bike and run when he gets hit clean". Rigo fought a great fight with some defensive hiccups.

Rigo is skilled.... but I STRONGLY agree with everything you said.

Donaire needs to get by Nishioka first (which won't be easy), then he's got a ripe melon to smash waiting on deck. I can't see Rigo taking the bombs from the Flash.

As a big rigo fan, what do you think of him being a southpaw that seems vulnerable to left hooks instead of the str8 right like most lefties?

Rigo has had 1 hell of a week, he was just in court on the other side of the country like 3 days ago. He didn't even know if he was going to be able to fight. That was a terrible showing and he still dominated every round and knocked the guy on his ass in the 12th

I think it is a stylistic advantage in Donaire's favor. But i ask that you go back a watch Donaire's last few fights. Donaire gets hit wiht ALOT of leather, didnt Mathebula OUTLAND Donaire?? I think he did, dont quote me on it tho.

If it is a war of counters Rigo wins.

If Donaire wants to Run Rigo wins, he showed he can hunt down the opponent and apply good pressure at times in the Marroquin fight.

If Donaire wants to chase Rigo its a fight that favors Rigo even more so. THAT is Rigo's element. See what happened when Marroquin stepped the pressure to full force in the 12th? He got hammered.

BUT, CAN DONAIRE KNOCK RIGO OUT???? YES. This is boxing, but i am down for a ban bet as i feel those odds are minimal.

Y'know...Marroquin isn't all that bad a fighter, and he's a pretty hard puncher. Cordoba was a pretty good boxer, too. Rigo might not possess an iron chin, but he didn't fold when dropped in a previous fight, nor did he fold when stunned and staggered on two separate occasions this evening.
