Sergio could have held or ran but decided to trade with JCC, what a champion and a credit to the sport of boxing

I've got added respect for both fighters today.

Martinez for standing and banging at times. Also, not holding while wavy.
Chavez for never giving up even though he was getting mopped up.

Chavez still learning, dont lose hope in him after this fight.. his young and i wouldnt be suprised if the rematch is a different outcome.

Sarcasm is hard to detect online. Your thread title states "Martinez to KO chavez" :huh

Edit: just read your initial post of wide UD, good call. I was worried JCC has him in the end, Martinez was gloating and showboating all night

Was a great fight to watch.

Sergios speed was way too much but Jnr really should have listened to his father and let his hands go earlier. You could see he had the strength to force the issue in the later rounds.

The bull**** point deduction saved it from being a draw which would of been fairer IMO.

Maybe I didn't give Chavez's chin the credit it deserves but he certainly looked like he was lost in the fog trying to figure out Martinez's movement...........the talks of the rematch I say why..........cause he got a 12th round KD......he got his arse handed to him & the likes of Sturm, GGG & Geale would do the same to him........so overrated its funny.

Martinez ate him up...Chavez does not have to mentality, any watch the 24/7 series? the dude barely wanted to train whilst martinez was going full ball in his camp..In saying that,Geale would be a good match up,both fighters use their footwork to provide great angles..but MArtinez would have his number imo..
