He was completely recovered by the end of the round, and the rest of the fight was not close at all, easier than Macklin or Pavlik.
chavez has 36 minutes to finish sergio at the beggining of round 1, too bad. also if round 7 was another minute longer martinez could have stopped chavez
He didn't though; that's the point. Chavez couldn't throw because Martinez was throwing back. The push down was gamesmanship but everything else was heart by Martinez.
