    How convenient.

    Pacquiao beat Bradley.
Martinez was always expected to beat Chavez.

Khan was favoured to beat both Peterson and Garcia.

Someone tell me where Chavez Jnr's jab was? Does no one analyze their fighter's opponents any more?

I don't know why people are deluded into thinking Roach is this great trainer.
He hasn't taught or added anything to his fighters game. They all fight the same way they've been fighting before he took over their training. When was the last time Roach brought up a trainer from amateur to the belt?
If he was a better trainer Chavez would have had a better game plan.

he dont jab, he swings hooks. jabs sometimes overated. hooks cause more damage, and get the KO's, jab sets up the hook, fuk a jab

Not a good sign when a boxing trainer says that.

It was more Chavez was not able to employ the jab rather than Roach not preparing Chavez to use it, I'd guess.

Do you even realise what you wrote, or was it done with a huge amount of sarcasm?

Martinez looked excellent last night.. Really brought his A-game for that fight.. But I will say that Jr is still very young and Martinez was a huge step up in competition and style contrast compared to anything he's ever seen.. He was definitely cautious, and looked a bit in awe by what Martinez was able to do.. But I felt like he showed his determination by never giving up which earns him big respect in my book.. If he takes this the right way and trains even harder he can come back better from this..

On a side note, Im confident Canelo would have been more than schooled by a 154lb Martinez last night...
