I really rate floyd but think martinez could be his kryptonite. Martinez has the ability to hurt mayweather more than any fighter he has ever faced. Floyd will have problems with a fighter like martinez, who is unorthodox and quick footed. Plus I can't see mayweather hurting martinez enough to gain respect.

Very good post, however I disagree...Mayweather possesses all the tools to break Martinez down... :The only way to beat Martinez conclusively (other then KO) is to have a good start and stay ahead on the cards either by high workrate, boxing on the backfoot & dancing from the outside...or getting K'D's...then you have to survive the latter part of the fight...not getting Ko'd. Maybe so and i would never bet against floyd. However, this version of floyd is more suited to martinez's style.
