Macklin gave Martinez way more trouble than Chavez Jr.

Pavlik,williams and macklin put up better fights.

 

That sounds good, and Obviously you're trolling...but Martinez was closer to losing this fight than at any point in the Macklin fight.

 

Why are you making childish taunting threads? People are fans of Chavez and thought he would win, he didn't, why the thread?

Darren Barker performed better for a few rounds than Chavez did while we're on the topic.

 

Macklin and Barker did not hurt Martinez. Chavez did. So I disagree.

 

Martinez just got sloppy and was caught by a good punch, a punch that Chavez seemed to look for all night. Martinez was hurt but he finished punching back and Jr showed he can't finish a fighter that is hurt when he is firing back.

Those 1000 were gay-ass problems in the form of gay-ass punches. Chavez Jr. gave Sergio just one punch and it shook Sergio and the whole boxing world. To date, Sergio is in the hospital and people are still talking. After the Macklin fight, Sergio went clubbing and everyone forgot the fight ever happened.

Chavez Jr = 1000 X better than Macklin

 

No he didnt he may have one more rounds but in no way was Mack ever able to damage Martinez the way Chavez did in the last round

 

Not forgetting that whole Martinez being scarily close to being ko'd M.Taylor style, thus losing, yea what you said.

Both points of view are true. Macklin gave Martinez more trouble (he was winning/level on scorecards going into last round) but Chavez hurt him more (albeit after being toatlly dominated for 11.5 rounds of the fight).

 

The fight wasn't level going into the last at all.
