    I guess you didn't see when Sergio got back up with more than enough time to get stopped but it never happened. Sergio had the heart to go toe to toe (while hurt) and finish with a bang! I don't call that lucky,i call that a champion

    It is what it is, a one sided beatdown, with a broken hand... Maybe if Chavez wne t after him with his Father`s tenacity, we would have had a different result... Martinez won 11 1/2 rds and was punching back at the end. THATS what happened ! How the hell could anyone rationally spin this ???

    Agree 100%.... Chavez fanboys are out in force this morning.... All of them wanting the ref to hand Jr the fight because of a knockdown...

    Sergio dominated every round, got knocked down from a solid combo by a light heavyweight/cruiserweight, then got up and kept fighting....

    Chavez fans just can't deal with it...

    Congrats to Sergio, gave Jr a boxing lesson all night long, got KDed but got up and kept going like a true champ.


    As for the rest of you idiots saying all mexicans are hating on Sergio, **** off with that stupid ****.

    It now appears that Sergio schooled Junior with a broken hand for most of the fight.

    Even with an eleven year advantage, an 18 lb advantage and twice as many hands, Junior got thoroughly schooled by the old man.
