Is there a more excruciating commentator than Kellerman?

    This guy is a joke. Martinez dominated Chavez and got clipped in the last minute. Then Kellerman was basically playing the role of promoter and demanding a rematch.:patsch

    How on earth did this muppet get on TV??:lol::dead:dead

    I remember a few years back he was also hyping up Bad Glass Jawson as the new boxing messiah.:lol::lol::rofl:rofl

    That's HBO A.K.A. Hypejob Box Office for you. Spewing propaganda and the gullible minions fall for it time and time again.:barf

    The only thing which annoys me with him is he talks too much and doesn't let the fighters speak at times.

    Kellerman was terrible last night, he was sucking Chavez off the entire time.

    Lampley was too, but not as bad. Harold and Roy were good.

    I found his performance embarrassing, everyone showed dignity and then he had to spoil Sergio's big moment by showing the replay of the KD... how about the 11 4/5 other rounds? kind of like when he showed the replay of the KO when he interviewed P Will after Williams - Martinez II ... not classy

    The announcer for the Canelo-Lopez fights on Showtime was horrible. Never heard of the guy before last night, and I never want to hear his voice again, ever. He was shouting all night....made Gus Johnson seem like a quiet guy.

    Mauro Ranallo, known for his commentary for PRIDE FC (Japanese MMA promotion), Gary Shaw's failed MMA promotion EliteXC and, most recently, now-owned UFC entity Strikeforce, a US-based promotion broadcast on Showtime.

    And I agree, Mauro is terrible. Stick to MMA and ruining that.

    Oh, thanks! That's why I've never heard of him....I never watch MMA or UFC or whatever.

    He would make a good wrestling announcer, and I'm giving him a compliment. That's what he sounded like...someone talking about The Rock fighting Hulk Hogan rather than a boxing match.

    You should try and watch boxnation sometimes. Yikes. Had a 30 second advert in the last round of the Hernandez fight and then had Bunce saying it wasn't boxnation's fault afterwards.

    Roy Jones Jr is one of my favourite commentators/analysts, he knows his stuff. Overall I don't mind the HBO team too much, although can't really comment on last night as I didn't see it all.

    Nope. In 35 years of following boxing, Kellerman is - hands down - the worst, most unqualified color commentator I've ever heard.
