  1. :patsch:patsch That was no KD. He was flung to the canvas from a wrestling move by Juroido Cheater Chavez Jr.:dead:dead

Fair enough i'm going to watch it again next chance i get. I was watching a lower quality stream so i didn't see a throwdown by Chavez Jr.

If there had been three more rounds, Junior would have been KO'd.

He was almost blind at the end of the twelfth and Martinez was the aggressor.

    :yep

Thanks - I'm eating it. Mmm, mmm good! Martinez won, great for him. He did show that he was quicker and more skilled than Chavez. And for that he deserves credit.

But let's be clear, this doesn't mean he as good as people think he is, and therefore is still overrated. If Chavez was a bit more skilled, he would have taken him out of there.

And, let us note that Chavez still almost DID paste Martinez to the canvas in the 12th. As others have said, had this been a 15 rounder, Martinez would likely have been KOd.

So yes, to those who predicted Martinez, you won, congrats - but I sure do bet in the 12th you were worried about those farms.

The feeling turned into reality but Chavez didn't hit back Martinez as you expected him to, at least not as often as Sergio did, and then we never came to know how things would have changed cause, hey, there was no time left when he hit him likethat - the Meldrick Taylor JCC Sr story only happens once in a lifetime and JCC Sr is alive to my knowledge. My feeling was and is that Sergio would get through it like he did after Kelly floored him and he had taken rounds off by midstage, he came back at it again and printed his shots with Kelly's blood on Kelly's face. Did you c those eyes, those Junior eyes, ouch:think

Zakman's original post shows that Sergio is still underrated by many. I was amazed that a lot of people gave Chavez Jr a chance. Chavez Jr fought exactly the way you would expect and got schooled, and now I see Zakman saying he is overrated now?
