I dont think Martinez would look good at 168. Chavez had a good round 12 because of the weight difference only. I wouldnt advise Martinez to go up that high. Cant blame Ward for not going down either. Each fighter knows where they are comfortable at. If Martinez can make 154 and Floyd steps up, that is where he should go. He doesnt have many fights left in him, he is 37, and he needs that one huge paycheck. Guy has charisma, heart and skill, he deserves it.

    Not really.

Sergio has already moved up from 147 to 154 and now to 160.

168 might be a step too far.

Floyd and Cotto have already fought at 154 and Sergio might be able to go back to the weight where he fought most of his fights, 154.

If he can still box at 154, Floyd and Cotto(e) would look silly themselves if they didn't want to fight him.

Martinez doesnt fight above his weight anymore, as he is looking for a fight with pacquiao and floyd, as if he's looking to fight kids rather than the guys the size like him. small middleweight my azz.

    Martinez is a blown-up welter-weight.

I was about to say Butterbean was a blown up heavyweight, and Hatton has a blown up head so it could have been 3/6.

Ward already said he would have to cut off an arm and a leg to make 160

and I really dont think Sergio can make 168, or at least compete with Ward at the weight

    Not necessarily.

Ali would have beaten all heavyweights of all eras , even Klitschko size contenders.

Roy had little trouble with Ruiz.

Floyd would beat anybody but Martinez at 160, even if he came into the ring at 149.

So it's not completely out of the question.

While I would favour Ward in this one, there's no doubt that Sergio is faster and slicker and would cause the bigger man some problems.

Sergio is too small for 168. Hell he's almost too small for 160 and Ward is a sizeable 168 lb'er.

    Won't ever happen IMO

  14. Lmfao are u kidding me Ali would get killed by most heavyweights today he would easily get outjabbed by the Klitschko brothers, and embarrassed by David Haye. Fighters get better over time not worse u dimwit. Tyson or Lewis would kill Ali completely Ali is the most overrated fighter of all time. :happy

  15. sergio martinez is p4p #2 in the world today after pretty boy floyd but andre ward is too big for him
