Everybody will school him. He might have a chance against Lucy Booty since Booty can't handle pressure like what Froch did to him.
He's going to be even stronger at 168 since he won't have to cut much..How dedicated he is will decide his fate.
He is easy to hit. He can get away from it at the lower weight but getting punched as easy as he does at higher weight is a recipe for a KO. Also his other strength is being able to out muscle smaller guys. If he can't back up these bigger guys his game plan is gone. He's not that skilled of a fighter to begin with.
Trout? Austin Trout fights at 154. I don't think he has any chance. His biggest weapon(his size) would be uselesss at those weights.
I don't think he would be elite, he would however likely become WBC SMW champion as Ward is going to have to vacate soon.
He will face hell @ 168, his size and power are not exceptional at 168. And he will face stronger opponents there. Just imagine what a Froch, Kessler, AA will do to him.
As long as he manages to land a couple of big shots in the last round, maybe with a KD too, he'll win the event, and in the end that's what really matters. :deal
If Arum can't get the rematch with Martinez, Kelly Pavlik maybe the next option. Julio still has a hell of a chin and some pretty heavy hands for SMW and LHW. He'll probably get even bigger and come in as a HW for those weight classes.
Against the best? Not too well. What has he even really done at MW? Barely decision Zbik? Decision Rubio? TKO Andy Lee and Peter Manfredo Jr.? He definitely has the size to move up, but I don't believe he has the package of skills to compete against the best when the size and power playing field evens out. In recent history, jumping from 160 to 168 has proven difficult. Taylor didn't have success. Pavlik has looked less than stellar. And Abraham, though he managed to win a belt, has looked out of his depth overall at the weight.
