I've only ever watched around 10 boxing fights, 1 being Mike Tyson highlights, 3 being Butterbean, george foreman highlights and Manuel Charr, and some other fights. Yet I constantly prove to be in the top 0.1% smartest posters here.
If anything I'd say Martinez proved he had a pretty ****ing good chin, it took a guy basically twice his size a good 3 - 4 shots to actually put him down and he couldn't keep him there. (And I don't literally mean twice his size, but the difference was plain for all to see)
Cry me a river nuthugger, I'm not going anywhere. You may not agree with my predictions, fanboy, because I am not afraid to go against the grain or make bold calls. But you know what? I don't give two flying ****s what ANY of you losers think, I am gonna continue to use my YEARS of observation of this sport to call 'em as I see 'em. And if you don't like that, you can go **** yourself.
:good respect, the fanboys here dont dare step over the line and try to make a bold prediction they just stick with the safe calls in order to pretend like they know something. Funny how you got them haters the usual suspects smack talking pretending like they know something here, in reality using it to hate on the Mexican because deep down they cant stand mexicans so they use **** like this to come out of the closet.... end of the ****ing day these fans boys post **** and say people dont know **** about boxing, How many of them have posted their fights here?:think anybody can have book knowledge..... Anybody can ride the coat tails of the top P4P fighters and always predict them to win but does that really mean you know boxing? No it doesnt it simply means you dont have it in you to really make a call you take the safe bet.
This bitchass dude still wont give up! Now this fraud ass dude is investing his hopeless theory in GGG...Hope that works out for your bitchass!( in which you're gonna look like a complete yet again):rofl
They should bring back same-day weigh-ins too, then Chavez would be getting KOed by cruiserweights instead of schooled by middleweights.
I've been watching the sport a lot longer than you Zak ? Does that make me more expert than you ? :yep I don't want to see your ass kicked offa here and I will continue to read your posts , here and in the lounge, but you jerked yourself off on this prediction and , as I predicted, brought a heap of embarrassment down on your head. Show some grace, here.
I'm gonna keep trying til I get it right pal!!!!! :happy ** Oh, and you've been watching for 50 years? ****, of course you got my measly 35 beat!!!! D **Truth be told: This is all about getting psyched up for big fights, while it's nice to get 'em right and I love the banter afterwards, that's not the main objective for me. It gives me a rooting interest and makes the fights more exciting - which is my primary reason for making these bold, and sometimes grossly incorrect, predictions. It's FUN!!
You're like the broken clock. You'll eventually be right, twice a day. Not quite fifty. Just since the Ali-Liston rematch. That sounds like you put more personal invective into your pre-fight predictions, than serious boxing analysis. But, whatever floats your boat. Still no indication of any measure of grace here, Zak.
Sometimes you just have to break down a matchup and go for it as long as you put some actual thought into it. Some say Martinez only got dropped because he got cocky, but that's a pattern I've noticed in a lot of his fights. I don't think anyone thought Chavez would put on a boxing lesson, everyone that picked Chavez was banking on Martinez making a mistake and getting clobbered by the bigger stronger guy. It came very close to happening too, not the worst prediction ever made, that's for sure.
Sergio Martinez most certainly deserves to be included in the honorable mention section of any sane boxing fans glass jaw list.
Principles generally straddle the full spectrum of issues. If they're absent in one domain, they're usually absent period.
Disagree. Ya gotta have a little fun with your recreation. Moralism is for things that really matter. But I do understand how reasonable people could differ here. Personally, I've always thought consistency was overrated.......just like Martinez!
