Nice quote there HH, Selby reminds me a little of McClellan in way he goes about his finishing. Seems ruthless type of guy, This is a big test for him. If he wins then he's the real deal IMO. I think this is a European title level bout IMHO. Both are quality operators and this may well be fight of the night.

I think the kid is the goods already, just hope he keeps the right mentality.

 

If there is a fighter right now....who will thrive on the above.......its Lee Selby.

Anybody giving Lindsay a chance ? I think it could be a cracking scrap . Last time in Belfast we got an upset with Simpson .Chance for Lindsay to redeem himself only got the 1 loss to Simpson .

Apps was a boy against a man that night, Selby is built for the war. A Romani warrior who doesn't mind a tear up.

Appleby was never as good as many said, he was just a kid physically developed earlier then many. He was solid but Selby's got a few styles and a nasty streak. A streak that will hopefully be shown in Belfast on Saturday..
