The size difference was glaring last night, its not fair he can get away with it.

Well TBH he probably was in terms of weight

Martinez normally rehydrates at what 170 ?, Chavez looked at least 190 to me, maybe bigger

Jones said he looks like a pretty well sized Cruiser

He paid the price for cutting too much weight last night, the legs and the energy were not there

But ............... in response to your quote " its not fair he can get away with it " if the kid aint cheating what can you possibly do if he's making weight ?

Yes Chavez was WAY bigger on the night, but this is the type of weight draining that will end his career. It's amazing how he feels so strong come fight night, probably due to PEDS.

He will be in bad health, by the time he is 30 years old.

The WBC added to have a rule which only allows fighters to add on 10% of their weigh in weight, meaning Chavez should only have been allowed to weigh 176.

    The rule didn't last long.

But if a guy is gonna be coming in several lbs above the limit, what is the point of weight divisions? With all the catch weight fights and fighters moving all around divisions lets just go open weight!

It's pretty dumb when you think about it example you have a middleweight fight and you're fighting a guy who is a cruiserweight. Then it's no longer a middleweight against a middleweight!

With all the catch weight fights and fighters moving all around divisions and many fighters blowing up huge, lets just go open weight. Floyd V Wlad anyone?? Haye v Pacman, Butterbean v Amir Khan?

Weight draining, has no benefit on performance.

Chavez was a walking Zombie, only in boxing do trainers still think they are gaining some sort of massive advantage.

Martinez was the stronger, faster, fitter fighter last night.

Chavez should be fighting at 175.
