The kid is like a walking brick wall, at 22 years of age he is a 7 year 40 fight pro veteran and fights like it, add to that his youth, size, strength, skill, and power, this kid is the future. he's been in my top five for a while, but hes definately number 2 now (not because he beat Lopez, I always thought it was a question of can he make it half way through rather than can he possibly win) I think Ortiz is one lucky boy he wasn't in there with Saul, when I heard that fight announced, I was surprised at how many people thought Ortiz would give Canelo a good fight, Alvarez would have massacred poor Victor. I'm really really looking forward to Sauls future fights.
the Ortiz from the Berto fight woulda ****ed him up, the Ortiz from the Lopez fight woulda got ****ed up
LOL lets see him vs a B level opponent at least to see how he does... all his opponents up to this point have been C level fighters and still some have given him trouble :hat
They said Alfonso Gomez gave him trouble, I say he was being patient, I never once got the impression he was having trouble with Gomez, his discipline is extraordinary for a guy his age. he just turned 22, he's a ****ing demon, I remember them saying to Ryan Rhodes after "Why didn't you try this, he's open to this, hes no good against that" and Rhodes said no, hes just that ****ing good I'm very very skeptical about prospects, I have to be IMPRESSED before I start believing in a guy, I believe in Saul Alvarez, he has everything going for him.
