Matthew "Mack The Knife" Macklin

I'm seeing Mack being matched with either quillin 50/50 fight
or him being fed to GGG by HBO.

 

If I was GGG, that would be a perfect match to make the case for a fight with Martinez.

 

Yep, easy fight for GGG but as far as the average duped HBO
watcher goes that would be all he'd need to do. GGG's career
took off when he decided to move to the states and look like
a million $$ again proksa on HBO. He's in a short line now.

 

He could very well beat Junior.

GG smashes him though.

 

the most logical next fight for Mack if he can't get Geale is Andy Lee.
They put this on HBO and the fans will love it. There will be seats sold.

And the 2 will go at it and there is almost guaranteed to be a ko. Both live by the sword and die by the sword. Fan friendly fight.

As big as it would be in Ireland it would be great at MSG too

 

HBO will make GGG Vs. Macklin next.

 

I hope you're right. I have a feeling GGG will shine and shock a few people.

GGG vs Geale

How about we see Macklin beat someone relevant first. His best win to date is still a old Ruben Varon ffs

 

Macklin would get hurt.

 

Top 7-8 middleweight for sure. He has scores to settle with the other guys from his neck of the woods (Barker first and foremost...Lee...Murray...maybe even Saunders in a year's time...)

Geale is probably his best look if he's keen to go the direct route for a world title instead of building up a name back home. That would also be a surefire barn-burner.

He also doesn't match up too poorly against either of the men about to vie for the WBO title, come to think of it. Both are a deal slicker than him, but he isn't particularly bothered by slickness (fighting very tough with Maravilla; and he obviously took Alcine to the cleaners in record time)

A rematch with Sturm is obviously winnable but why bother at this point?

Surely he'd love another go at Martinez but I'm not certain it would go much differently.

Golovkin and Pirog - bad ideas.

 

GGG vs macklin would be good fight. GGG will knock him out but it will be good while it last.
