I love Canelo dude is a beast but right now floyd would pick him apart for a one sided UD.

    He cant beat floyd.

i think canelo has progressed past the point where floyd can beat him. everything he would throw would feel like the mosely punch in the second rd. floyd struggled to beat a cotto whos been wrecked by less destructive forces than the current canelo. canelo beats both floyd and cotto.

I would give Void mad prop if he dare to take on the Ginger. As far as I see it going....pick one in any order / health would come first, they ain't fighting to see who the best is, or Floyd has lost his urge in boxing.

I'm unconvinced of Canelo, not saying he is bad, but he has not shown me anything to accept that he is as good as the hype surrounding him..

To be honest I think it would be a close fight,. Mayweather would have to dig deep to get that Win

For what it's worth, I'd think Alvarez beats everybody at at 154 easily not named Mayweather, Lara, or Cotto.

I think it is a legit fight for Mayweathers' legacy and for a major boxing event.

I don't see Canelo breaking through Mayweather's defense.

Mayweather had an interesting fight against Cotto because he elected that fight to make it more entertaining. But make no mistakes, Floyds playing safe is almost unhittable and unbeatable.
By Canelo beating bloated welters and eldery boxers i cant meassure how he will handle the best p4p in the sport.

Canelo should step up, fight & beat Lara early next year, I'd say he's made a case for a Floyd match on Cinco de Mayo.

The time is now, Floyd ain't getting any younger & Canelo is getting better.
