    ?

I haven't seen anyone NOT question his skill levels. Specifically his defense.

But his offense seems to be getting even better than it was. His movement & variations were really impressive. Time will tell if he can develop the whole package.

canelos defense doesnt seem to be all that great. but offense sure is good . picks his shots well and makes them count.

i kno it wont happen because there gunna try n start puttin canelo of PPV i would like to see him get it on with carlos molina.

but if there gunna start puttin him on ppv cuz i think p will and canelos was gunna be on ppv and thats just not ppv worthy.

so if were gunna have to start payin to see him fight then he need to fight martinez or cotto if he beats trout.

He just needs to fight good Light Middleweights. There are guys who've been waiting for shots for years . It's a shame that boxing promotes get away with murder just to suck the **** of the hot fighters. Lara deserves a shot. Molina deserves a shot. A kid I like, Gabriel Rosado may get a shot at the Bundrage-Berto winner if he beats Charles Whittaker on Sep 21st.

Basically the path to superstardom is extremely clear for the Ginger. Has has to beat Cotto to make himself known as a PPV star. Then he needs to fight mayweather in order to take over as the new man on the planet. Ensuring both those match-ups happen should be his teams main focus. Only problem is that Mayweather if he's smart will never face him and Cotto has a real chance of losing to trout in December. They also have to duck risky guys like Lara and MArtarosian until they financially make more sense. I never see Canelo being affective at 160. He's far too small. He has 4 more years on top because of that. Time is ticking.....

thats exactly why i see canelos time as a top tier fighter (if one wants to call him that right now, like i said im still not convinced) as very limited.... fact is hes only 22 and hes a stocky stocky 154lber. As he grows older and fills out even more, it will become even harder for him to make 154, and when the time comes when he cant make 154 anymore, I dont see much of a future for him as a champion.

Thats just imo though. Id like to see him be able to comfortably make 154 though for a long time.... and crazier things have happend, I just think it will be hard for a stocky guy like him.

First off, I'm not a fan of Alvarez, but to think he can't succeed at 160 is ludicrous. It's only 6 kind more, and he's over 5'8". Gayler was only 5'9".

Camelot is no Gayler, though. He's a very good offensive fighter..

We will see.... I will be completely shocked if Canelo can be a succesful middleweight champion.

Will be awesome to see how things pan out though. Exciting fighter.
