If Manny is able to clearly beat Marquez he should retire. I think Floyd should retire also. They are both old and in my opinion dont need to prove anything by fighting anybody else. They are both ATG, first ballot hall of famers, made tons of money and have their health in tact. They should leave on top and not risk staying on and possibly losing and then carrying on even longer by trying to recapture the glory days like Jones, Toney, Holyfield etc have been doing. Some people will bang on about legacy but both guys have very solid legacies and fighters don't care about mythical all time p4p lists like fans do. They accomplished more than 99% of boxers. I have always been a big Floyd fan and have liked Manny aswell. Both have had great careers and been great for the Sport.
I think Manny should retire. Mayweather will soon but hes a few more in him. The difference beteween the too his Mayweather has defense and has only been in a couple of wars. took time beteween fights so hes hella fresh at 35, manny is an old ass 32 and Arum doesnt care about him anymore so he should just bounce it. If Pacquao retires before fighting Mayweather then I, and alot of people, will down a great career because in all honesty he ducked the best fighter of his generation.
After all the insults and accusations from FM, I can guess that Manny has a little payback for him in the ring. Just a guess.
