I'd say maybe a minute or 2 more afterwards. If it had another round, I think that Sergio would have composed himself and amped up his defence a bit, while Chavez Jr would just gas himself further trying to finish him.
He was relieved because he knew he got a(nother) significant W. These threads seriously need to stop. It's almost becoming spam! On another note, what if rounds were five minutes long like they are in UFC?
What a round! I just showed that clip to some guys at work and I still get that sinking feeling in my stomach when I watch it. I think Martinez was doing better when the bell rang than he was with 30 seconds left. They both might have fallen over if the round went another minute, but I think both survive another 30 seconds.
:rofl:rofl:rofl Sergio was "put on his ass" and did not run but stood and traded with Jr that outweighted him by at least 20 pounds and Jr did not finish him People will remember who won you moronatsch
Well yeah he got hit by a dude that weighs 15 ore lbs then him. Of course he was like, cool this is over but it wasnt sitting there like im gonna lose. He beat the sht out of Chavez
Pavlik knocked Martinez down earlier in their fight and is a better finisher and harder puncher than Chavez and Sergio made it out of that just fine. Paul Williams dropped him early and Sergio recovered as well. Sergio was dropped but as always he recovered were as Chavez punched himself out ,30 more seconds and we could have very easily have seen him on the mat.
He would of never fell down if he never took those flush blows before hand so I don't want to hear that **** one bit.............................
I dont think so (just imo) Martinez had already regained himself for the round and Jr had shot his load. If there was one more round, possible.
