How come Vitali doesn't put full force behind his punches?

coz those arm punches alone could knock his opponents out, if he puts full force on his punches then that could decapitate the heads of his opposition.....:bbb

I wondered if this may have more to do with his previous knee injuries than anything else? I can't imagine he fancies ****ing his knee up again while trying to put his whole body behind a punch. Most of his punches are arm punches/ thrown from the hip.

Come on Vitali punches hard but he was never a huge puncher like his brother even when he was younger and todays Vitali throws only arm punches

He had power in his prime , but was never a huge puncher ,anyway if you think david "no balls" haye ever wanted to fight Vit , you are either british or delusional, because Haye himself said he always thought Wlad was a weaker brother and he wanted him first, he even confronted wlad in the airport , but never did anything like that to Vit.He had his chances to fight Vit ,but never had balls ,so he went for Valuev and second time for chisora .He fought Wlad and thats why I think it wasn't "K2 slave contact" that kept haye from fighting Vit,that was lack of cojones

true, throwing full power punches puts a lot of stress on the pivoting knee...plus balance plays a big factor....full power shots would get Vitali way out of position against shorter opponents and his lean back defense wouldn't work....although his arm punches are still hard as **** im sure, they do keep relatively centered so he can pull back quickly to dodge and counter

I see ppl on here more and more say Vitali has no power and that he arm punches and it kind of makes me laugh

Vitali has lots of power, he has dished out some of the worst heavyweight title beatings I have ever seen Sanders, Williams, Briggs, Adamek, and Peter were some of the biggest beat downs i have ever seen

Vitali does arm punch and paw with the left, but he does throw hard jabs and left hooks though a bizarre looking left hook when he chooses

im not gonna take the time to hunt down video evidence but he puts all kinds of power on his right when his feet are set, at his old age he has a hard time setting his feet vs sturdy guys like Charr, Chisora and Adamek who can all take a punch

Vitali unlike Wlad is an accumulation guy, Wlad can KO guys with one shot, Vitali has, Hide fight but usually doesnt

I think Vitalis power has decreased lately and he doesnt sit on his shots for several reasons but if you watch him in his prime he was devastating

Wlad has the bursty power, one big shot.
Vitali the sustained power, he keeps hammering.
