    I do know Paisas that hate Chavez Jr. but it's nothing to do with his fathers legacy. They feel Jr. embodies the sports corruption. If forgot what fight it was, I want to say it was in Tijuana where the fans there started booing Jr. and Sr. had to jump in the ring and try to calm the crowd. Those are some true Chavez haters there even thrown beer at Sr.

    Regardless, to hate on Jr. after this fight is crazy though. I must agree there Freddy. :good

    I agree %100 percent with this post. I got nothing but respect for Sr. as he gave nothing but respect to the sport. Jr. thought he was too good to train and take boxing serious.

    i understand that...but the kid still works hard

    i mean, should we hate roy jones for playing basketball between camps....floyd for going to the club...pavlik for being a drunk...mayorga for smoking etc etc ???

    so the kid doesn't train as hard as his pops, big deal....plus, that's not even the reason why people hate him...they hate him just cause arum has milked him....not his fault as a fighter...if you ask me, him standing up to arum and asking for this fight, taking it, and almost ko'ing martinez deserves some ****en respect.....

    bro...felt like a ****en earthquake...

    i've seen many fights live...oscar fights...vargas fights and none, i mean none were like that arena that night....crazy how much that last name means to boxing fans....i swear, it was like nothing before.....

    Also, why don't you give Pavlik that respect then? Pavlik showed just as much heart as Chavez Jr. in taking his beating...

    oh ****...forgot to mention a lil incident i had with hearns after the fight hahahahaahahah......of course i was mad and drunk, so i was yelling **** like "martinez won the marathon, but jr won the war" etc etc hahahahahaah then i ran dead on to tommy hearns and instead of shaking his hand or taking a picture....i was like "HITTMANN...YOU KNOW DAMN WELL YOU WOULDN'T OF RAN THE ENTIRE FIGHT IN THE MOST IMPORTANT FIGHT OF YOUR CAREER"....he kept trying to talk and answer me but i was too rowdy and he just laughed it off like "this messsican aint gonna listen to me anyways" hahahahah that was hilarious when i thought about it afterwards.....

    i love and respect pavlik....how they train, or what they do outside of the ring has nothing to do on how i view a fighter....as long as they give me what i want in the ring, i respect and like them regardless of how and when they train....who trains them...how much they weigh before camp....the politics around them etc etc.....this is boxing, not a ****en soap opera
