10 fights to watch

    What would be your top 10 recommended fights to watch to somebody (me) looking to learn a bit more about the game and to get some entertainment value at the same time? What fights would you say would be essential to catch up on? I'm looking to catch up on some good fights that I have undoubtedly missed. I've always had an interest in boxing and watched it when I could but looking through the boards here I notice how many fighters I haven't seen much of. What would you recommend?

    Sorry, I am a bit vague. From any era really, I haven't seen a lot of the 70's 80's (apart from HW), I've probably seen more of the classic fights from before the 60's, but I enjoy them too. I guess any stand-out fights in terms of action or excitement or importance, or technical performances or masterclasses. I'm not too fussy really


    Thanks for the suggestions, I've seen some of them but will have to catch up on others

    I'm a go with some more modern ones, in no particular order:

    Castillo vs Corales I

    Pavlik vs Miranda

    Zab Judah vs Miguel Cotto

    Israel Vazquez vs Rafael Marquez 1, 2, or 3 really

    Margarito vs Cotto

    Juan Marquez vs Baby Bull I


    Just quick thoughts, I'll try to think of a couple more.
