    1 fight - draw
    2 fight - manny won
    3 fight - marquez won
    4 fight - :huh

for me this fourth fight should end all discussions who the better Boxer is.
    what's your take.

My take is Juan Manuel Marquez is quite clearly the better boxer, hence him winning a larger number of rounds over the 3 fights.

Juan is 40 years old. These *******s ***** at Floyd for taking on the number 3 pound for pound 38 year old Mosley who was a "ww with muscle" as they put it, but Manny is taking on someone who is #5 pound for pound and is 2 years older than the #3 in the world Mosley.

Juan is and always will be a better fighter.

    I don't think it should.

Marquez will be what, 38-39? And all signs say Pacquaio is slowing down now too. It might give some help as to deciding who the 'winner' of the series is, but I wouldn't put too much emphasis on it either way.

Also, styles make fights, I think Pacquaio has better wins on his resume but Marquez is suited by Pacquaio's style and seems to have his number somewhat: so I wouldn't say the winner of this fight is the better boxer all round or in terms of ATG'ness. For me Pacquaio will still be rated more highly win lose or draw this one.

better boxer technicly, yes marquez better.

better in terms of speed, punching power, athletism all manny.

for me pacquiao is the better overall boxer, when they where both prime in the second fight he put him down like 3 times, he just won that fight. when guys fight at there best and both were at there best or near prime time than you can say the most easily who realy the better man is.

To me JMM has already won 2 and drawn 1, so even if Pac wins this clearly hed be trailing by 1 on the series.
The only thing this does is open the opportunity for JMM to get a official win on his record.

Normally id be convinced Arum would pay off the judges like last times but it seems like he sold Pac out so we might see a legit verdict for a change.

juanma is one of the hardest working men in all of boxing, barely no one trains harder than him. jogging in mountains, training like a mad man under bernstain.
he is 39 and his 39 years are like 33-35 to anybody else. just like hopkins 45 is like 37-39 to other people, juts because he is a freak when it comes down to nutrition and training.

I have it 2-0-1. IMO looking at their whole body of work Pacquiao is clearly better.

H2H they are almost even due to styles.

they putting Manny in with guys who cant hurt him

Marquez cant hurt him, but manny can hurt him and have him dropped.

Doesn't matter what you "think." Fact is that he is 39 years old.

Note-I think he is a GREAT fighter, I'm just using *******ism in this debate. :thumbsup *******s said Floyd was scared of Shane until they signed the fight. Then the #3 world ranked Shane Mosley was "old." Also, *******s were saying Juan was old in 2009, when he fought Floyd and was 36. But it's ok for Manny to fight a 39 yo Marquez.

If Floyd fought Marquez again, he would be told he is ducking Pacquiao to fight the guy who dominated Pacquiao in their last fight.

Manny lost that 3rd fight and it wasn't close.

Manny beat Bradley and it wasn't close.

If you think Manny won against Marquez and also beat Bradley, then your a straight ******* and you have an agenda.

Face it man, he lost...ok I'll agree and go off official win/loss...Well than Manny lost to Bradley then.

Except I would say the majority of people thought Juan won that fight.

Even then, take the 1 (not 3, that was the first fight) knockdown into consideration and Juan still outboxed him and won more rounds. He was just unable to stand up to Mannys power, but the majority of the time Emmanuel spent in the ring with him, Juan was getting the better of him and there is no doubt about that, whoeever you think won :deal

Also, Manny is a greater athlete, but Juan is a better boxer.
