What this tells me is emmanroid's strategy is going to be that of a slugger's. Looking for that one big shot to change it all. Sort of like how he came in fat against Timmeh thinking he'll knock him out.

This will make Juan's life easier when he outboxes him

The Paulie fight was 3 years while Cotto was still at that weight.. That was the weight he was at the time,it's not like Paulie had to drain him like Pac did.

He did. He also offered Manny 37.5% more than his highest payday and Manny turned it down.

Manny was 147 for Bradley. The point here is that the weight benefits Manny but when it won't benefit him then he turns down the fights or makes catchweights.

Be surprised if either of them come in at 147. Say they will both probably be under the limit by a few pounds.

This is so boring. So what if weight and age finally sees Pacman scoring ONE legit win over JMM? Only proves advantages can beat Marquez, Pacquiao can't. The whole fight is recycling and set for disappointment, the 3rd was nowhere near as good (or competitive) as the 1st two and if you haven't decided who's the better of the two you're a fool. It seems the only question that remains is how high the weight and how late the age Marquez can't compensate with elite skills. I thought it would be last year but hey, one year on, couple of lbs higher, surely, Pac must get the legit win this time around. If not, see you in 2013, 2014 etc.

That's by choice. I don't think the extra weight suits him.

I figure Pac feels he needs the extra weight as Juan Manuel Overpowered him the last time

I was responding to what you put down though. Manny may very well weigh 147 and the extra weight helps him more than it would Marquez.

Honestly as well as winning the last fight I thought JMM looked stronger and carried the weight better than Pac did so I'm just surprised its at 147. Neither of them really have the frame for a welterweight.
