It's hard to land so many shots through and between the guard, especially in combination and so rapidly from head to body.

Regardless of Lopez's limitations at 154, that was brutal and impressive finishing.

cotto's smaller brother who started his career at 126 and should never be fighting above 140 almost knocks him the **** out

alvarez will get exposed as soon as he fights a real legit opponent in his weight class

He'll take over as the combination king once Juan retires AZZuming his skills hold up against real contenders and elite level fighters

your logic does not work. andre ward got wobbled and hurt by an unknown journey man with 6 losses. in your logic he would have never survived 3 rounds against power punchers like abraham or froch at super middleweight.

Good form, good poise. Looked good. The context must be considered, but that aside, looked solid with good form.

Canelo is a genuine star. GB better be smart with the match making. Make him grow a loyal fan base first before matching him up against the big boys. DLH has connections with Univision, hopefully Canelo gets alot of interviews on some of there shows.

No doubt, Canelo's offense just keeps getting better & better. He's a wrecking machine, and can come at you from many angles. He's also faster than I thought. (Maybe he's been doing plyometrics?)

    - but his defense is still pretty bad. Maybe a little improved, but still not nearly good enough to keep him at the top. GGG, Martinez, Macklin, Pirog... all these guys would be a serious threat to him right now.

I remember watching that and thinking holy ****. That was a fukin beautiful combination. Alvarez is really good, I think he's the real deal. He put on a flawless performance. The other guy was outclassed obviously, but Alvarez showed he's got a lot of skill and talent. I would love to see him fight Cotto, that would be an amazing fight.
