    Dont see this as a KO.Two underrated heavies.Both solid for years.But I remember young as the man who gave Ali fits and put the finisher to George Foremans first career.Also thought he well beat Ken Norton.Stopped Richard Dunn,at the time a handfull.A good pairing,Shake,but Young on points for me.

    Ruiz was sloppy...Young was slick. Look it up in the book...slick beats sloppy.

    Of course there would be no ko..Young wouldn't even try, and if a half blind old past it Young never gets phased by a young Gerry Cooney, then how in the hell could Ruiz ko him?

    Ruiz didn't flaunt his skills; they were subtle and not obvious to the neophyte. He was immensely skilled and offered a seamless combination of offense and defense, shifting effortlessly between the two. Oh, something to behold.

    Ruiz ate up slick fighters.
