Cameron was very impressive. He must be getting good coin to go back down to CW.

Camerons not that effective at CW. If it's Dannyweight he will be less dangerous still. No ****ing way Shane gets a decision win . Hope he can pull a Garth Wood.

Fewyears back I though green would win this handily. Now I dunno. The only thing in his favour is cameron may be drained.
So much for a LHW fight. I didn't think he could make the weight.
Honestly think Danny looks best at around 190 anyway. He shouldnt try and bulk up a shitload again. He gasses to early and losses his underrated speed.
I think Cameron will win though. He's a big puncher, and won't be intimidated

Yep your right. 4 time is the theory, though going back to the IBO kills me, for a vacant title. I'm not sure I understand how he wouldnt be able to make LHW, a weight he fought at for several years and even made SMW though only just. I mean its not like he's a growing boy whose frame has changed, and even if his metabolism is slowing down I would have still thought it possible through diet and conditioning.

    Neither is Green.
It's actually interesting at full CW as both are not at their best.

    risk vs reward?

    i'm not so sure tbh.

though green could have bought his way to a proper light-heavy title shot sooner or later.

after taking punishment vs tarver and the pole, i'm not sure taking on a heavyweight dropping down is going to be too healthy for green if he starts getting tagged too much.

best hope is that shane struggles a little like his 1 or 2 other cruiser fights.

don't see the point behind this at all. It will be a good fight you can bet on it but i just don't see the rationale of it from either fighters point of view? maybe it was taking too long and the negotiations with lhw champs were turning sour and cameron couldn't land a big hw name?

Green becomes a 4 time champion, It will sell well in Aus,N.Z, Less risk fighting a Cameron shedding 9kg than fighting Shumenov where Danny would have to shed 10lb.

yeah i guess. Im just dissappointed he didnt have a go at getting down to lhw again where i think he is at his best. By no means is this a bad fight i think it is a real 50/50 at this stage and neither guy should be getting bagged for it but it wasn't at all what i was expecting. Should be a good undercard with will tomlinson already on the bill and a great arena in hisense holding it , im sure it will be a good event.

I give Green props for taking this fight.A guy who just fought at Hw with a massive Ko
As for Cameron,he has been frothing at the mouth for this fight for a few years,he wants the cash n to be recognised in the region.
but the timing does seem off

I use to think this fight was a no brainer win for ol Danny boy but after seeing Cameron KO Barrett he's definately got the power to put Danny to sleep...........power is a great equalizer.
