How Fast Are Alvarez Hands?

    He used to look slow as hell, nearly to the level of too slow to potentially be elite. His hands look fairly fast now when he lets them go especially for a Mexican.

    He def has improved hand speed, I'd say above average hand speed these days.

    He's very explosive and good speed for the power he delivers.

    when in combos, his combos his hands are quite fast. There quite fast when they get going but at one point he has to "load" it then fire. Theres acually a lot of **** happening that you dont see with little movements to get the weight transfer right.

    His one shot speed is average, but he puts them together so effortlessly with very good power.

    out of 10. he is like 8. floyd is like 9 and guys like prime roy or prime judah are 10. yeah, 8 is good for canelo.

    People don't really get faster. I'm starting to think the reason he used to look so slow was because he was boxing pro at a young age and was relatively inexperienced, so he lacked the fluidity to his combos. Now that he's fluid, his hands can travel faster.

    His footspeed, reflexes, and upper body movement tell the whole story. Those speeds are much slower than his hands.

    His combination speed is amazing given how much he loads up on his shots

    fast combos but not single punches. Still very very quick, and has power in both hands. He's an offensive beast.
